Your Weekly Overview March 7th – March 13th:

Hang the dreamcatchers and summon the spirit guides! This week is packed with esoteric and enchanted transits all involving Pisces and its ruling planet Neptune. Relax, relate and retreat into the depths. The magical mystery tour starts on Tuesday, March 8 with the solar (new moon) eclipse in Pisces—the first eclipse of 2016. Imagination activation? Check! Take nothing at face value this week; in fact, we might all do well to suspend hardcore logic and realism momentarily.

Compassionate, soulful Pisces wants us to start with the heart, centering our decisions around feelings AND facts, since eye-opening Jupiter in Virgo will be exactly opposite this eclipse. This is a stellar time to start a meditation practice, journal, learn an instrument or dive into the arts—particularly music and dance, which fall under Pisces’ jurisdiction. And Jupiter in Virgo reminds us that practice makes perfect. But don’t be discouraged if you don’t nail it on the first go.

The muse is in the house, too, and this eclipse awakens divinely inspired creativity. And get ready! The results and bounty could be quadruple-strength because this new moon manifests with a lunar (full moon) eclipse in Pisces on September 16.

Eclipses can bring shake-ups and wake-up calls and this one might alert us to people who are hurting in our midst. Don’t underestimate the power of a small, loving gesture to change another person’s life. That said, having healthy boundaries is equally important. Giving is not a true act of generosity if we exhaust ourselves in the process. If we’ve been trusting the wrong people, the eclipse could reveal snakes in supporters’ clothing. Snip those toxic ties—and quickly—because getting burned for a second time is not worth the pain.

On Friday, March 11 messenger Mercury hosts its annual tete-a-tete (or more like coeur-a-coeur) with dreamy Neptune at the same degree of Pisces. Soulful spring cleaning, anyone? Pisces is not afraid to delve into the shadows, so unlock that chamber of secrets and have a look around. Take time to get in touch with negative thoughts, limiting beliefs, and addictive behavior patterns. Becoming aware of what trips us up can bring an incredible sense of power.

The Mercury-Neptune merger sharpens intuition so pay attention to unspoken cues, like body language, as the weekend nears. What people AREN’T vocalizing may be more telling than the words coming out of their mouths.

On Saturday, it’s time to let love rule once again. Romantic Venus brings a spring-fevered surge our way when she decamps to Pisces until April 5. This four-week phase helps us surrender to the power of amour, dropping our guards and opening our hearts. Pisces rules fantasy and illusion, however, so it may be difficult to distinguish a spring fling from the real thing. Nevertheless, some magic moments are on tap when dreamy, poetic Pisces is connecting with ardent Venus. Let go and enjoy!
