What the world needs now is love, sweet love. This Thursday, September 22 the Sun enters rosy, romantic Libra until October 22, opening our hearts. Collaborate, cooperate, co-create! Libra time is all about getting those dynamic duos in motion. Choosing the right dance partner is key, and since Libra is the sign of the scales, our perfect pairings may come from the “complementary force” category instead of the “kindred spirit” cache. Is it time to make a peace offering? Libra’s harmonious vibes can help us smooth over any rough patches in our most important relationships. It’s never too late to at least TRY to make amends—and the gracious diplomacy of Libra season will make others more amenable to accepting apologies.

And let’s be honest: With Mercury retrograde in persnickety Virgo since August 30, there have probably been some meltdown moments with the ones we love. Thankfully, on Thursday the messenger planet pivots back into direct motion, helping to iron out those scrambled signals. But discernment is still a must. Until October 7, Mercury will remain in Virgo, helping us analyze what—and who—to keep on our social calendars. Perfectionism and excess fussiness may clear up, too. Maybe you judged a situation harshly or hopped on some soapbox without actually researching the facts. If that’s the case, give things a savvier review. It’s okay to admit that you’re wrong, fedora in hand. Since Libra season is a prime opportunity for dealmaking, Mercury’s U-turn comes at an optimal time. Vixen Venus changes signs on Friday, slinking into seductive Scorpio until October 18. The countdown to winter comes with an extra dollop of sex appeal! Wrap up in the two-person Snuggie and let the friskiness unfold. But do keep a firm privacy policy in place. Venus in secretive Scorpio prefers to keep the fun behind closed doors. No need to change that relationship status on Facebook, incite a riot on Instagram with a mysterious ring photo or even tell a soul about your latest escapades. Let it be “our little secret.” You may find yourself drawn to mysterious types and even brooding bad boys and girls. Go ahead and enjoy some cat-and-mouse games—though anyone too hard to catch could lose your interest between now and October 18. Conversely, don’t be TOO mysterious or impossible to pin down either. The green-eyed monster could make cameos a-plenty with Venus here! Leaving something to the imagination? Mais oui! Riling up jealousy? Don’t even think about going there.
