Should you play by the rules, or bend them to your will? On Tuesday, September 13 the upright Virgo Sun plays “Truth or Dare” with risque Mars in Sagittarius. It’s going to be hard for anyone to just roll with the tide during this transit. But bucking it just to be a rebel would be ill-advised. Before unleashing any renegade moves, get thoroughly familiarized with the directions. Knowing how things work is the pre-requisite to modifying them well. Both the Sun and Mars give us swagger and this cosmic clash could stir up a battle of the egos. Ethical debates, too, with moralizing Virgo and zealous Sagittarius energy in the cocktail shaker. Our advice? Leave touchy topics off the table early this week. Maybe it’s best NOT to know anyone’s stance on Trump…

On Friday, life takes a turn for the esoteric and enchanted when the Pisces lunar (full moon) eclipse lights up the skies. Relax, relate and retreat into the depths. Or just sit back and watch them unfold. This eclipse is the manifestation of a magical mystery tour that started on March 8 with a solar (new moon) eclipse in Pisces. This sign rules healing and the subconscious mind. If you’ve been doing your soul searching, expect to have some violet light bathed realizations near Friday. Hint: They may involve surrendering control or literally saying goodbye to something that no longer serves a purpose. And yes, there may be tears, but who doesn’t need a good, cleansing cry every now and again? For those out there who like to plan every move on an Excel spreadsheet, we’re sorry to tell you that the eclipse may have the last laugh. Instead of directing the universe, pay attention to which doors are opening and which seem impossible to pry open, no matter how hard we try. But miracles can happen the minute we release our grip and accept that what will be will be. That doesn’t mean being reckless though! Pisces energy can send people spiraling into addictive, self-destructive and downright delusional behavior—especially when “loony” luna is full! Steer clear of triggers and temptations on Friday (and over the weekend) because that slope is way too slippery.

Creatively, this eclipse is sure to deliver some divine downloads. If you’ve been developing a visionary idea, share it with trusted people on Friday. One of them could turn out to be a champion. But consider having them sign an NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) if there are trade secrets or important artistic/intellectual property involved. The blurring effect of a Pisces eclipse could mask a competitor in ally’s clothing. Yikes! Socially, this would be THE Friday to dive into Piscean activities: an epic night of dancing, a meditation circle, a spiritual ceremony, or a romantic date lifted straight from the pages of a fairy tale.

A wild weekend may be unavoidable, despite the eclipse’s meditative effects. Rabble rouser Uranus in Aries syncs up with wildcat Mars in Sagittarius on Saturday and gives everyone a case of cabin fever. Switch things up socially, mingling with new people and meandering through those up-and-coming neighborhoods to see what gems can be found. While wanderlust will strike, traveling could be a mixed bag with these two impatient planets in cahoots (not to mention Mercury lingering in retrograde until September 22). If you’re thinking of packing a weekender bag, make sure to have SOME kind of an itinerary. Also, we don’t advise taking your first ever vacay with someone now, because this isn’t the time to test those waters. Less so on Sunday when diplomat Venus gets checked by irksome Uranus, making cooperation fly out the window. But if you’re solidly aligned on fun—and voyaging forth with a self-sufficient soul—this could be one for the history books!
