Remember those New Year’s resolutions you made way back in January? Maybe…maybe not. But this Tuesday, July 19 you could hit a few of those milestones under the light of the annual full moon in Capricorn. Celebrate the success then plot out your next coordinates. Under such an ambitious lunation, mountains can be moved—especially in the days leading up to the next new moon on August 2. Also, scroll back to January 9, which was the date of the corresponding NEW moon in Capricorn.

What goals were in your crosshairs at the dawning of 2016? If you got distracted from these missions, Tuesday’s moonbeams may motivate you to pick up the ball and run with it again. It’s never too late to start over or correct course along the way. And while adhering to traditional methodologies is a must during a Capricorn full moon, there’s also a call to modernize…and futurize! Forward-thinking Uranus in radical Aries will square the full moon, throwing la luna a challenge. Dream outside the box and utilize technology as part of the game plan. Uranus also governs community, so teamwork can definitely make the dream work this week—provided we collaborate with competent, qualified people.

But there could be some serious power struggles under this full moon-Uranus square. The full moon in Capricorn can affect banks, governments and the economy, while Uranus in Aries can bring uprisings from “the people.” We’re keeping our eye on the world stage (and staying cool for potential fluctuations in the market) especially given the wildly unpredictable climate 2016 has brought in so far.

Wednesday will be a blessing as diplomatic Venus in Leo forms a harmonioustrine to stabilizing Saturn in Sagittarius. This transit can increase the peace and mitigate tension brought on by the full moon. Working together for a brighter future? Well duh, that’s kind of the only way. Although this cosmic connection is brief it can bring an impactful wakeup call. Romantically, the Venus-Saturn trine brings important reality checks to lovebirds—but ones that actually inspire hope and happiness. Finally! You can settle on a relationship status and maybe even make it Instagram official. Or, you’ll get a solid plan in place for how to support each other’s biggest life goals. Discussing ongoing issues in love will go smoothly with Venus in the frame—and Saturn keeps us in a solution-oriented headspace. If you’re looking for love, hump day could bring a solid citizen into the picture.

Leo season begins on Friday as the Sun blazes into the lion’s domain until August 22. Basic b****es: Run to wardrobe for a costume change! (May we suggest a sequined Carnival unitard and crystal crown?) The show ponies, theater geeks and spotlight hogs shall inherit the earth if we don’t give them a run for their Tony awards. Even the most hardcore “INTJ” (in Myers-Briggs terms) could afford to be a little less introverted now. Pitch, perform, present! A fierce AF style upgrade could get attention; diving into your creative gifts is another way to make a splash. (Who wants to start a band?) Just flaunt your magic so the world can see what you’re really made of. This confidence-boosting solar cycle wants us to market and promote our offerings—through shameless plugs OR the humblebrag. The downside of this fiery phase? We can overestimate our abilities and get caught up in ego trips. Keep a proverbial lion’s paw planted on Planet Earth to avoid losing touch with reality. Cupid will hover in the ether for this four-week phase as Leo energy is all about the romance. Scatter rose petals over the ones you adore and ignore the cries of “Get a room!” should you get swept into a passionate round of PDA.
