Too much of a good thing is, well, not a good thing. But everyone’s susceptible to overdoing it this Monday, June 24, as nebulous Neptune crashes into a boundary-challenging square with decadent Venus. These two “escape artists” sure know how to have a good time. But setting limits? Not either planet’s specialty. Err on the side of pragmatism, at least for the early part of the week. Until at least Tuesday night, try to put off major purchases and stall on any binding decisions. With Venus in variable Gemini and Neptune in unfocused Pisces, you’re likely to change your mind at least six more times before settling on the ideal option. (And even then, a wave of buyer’s remorse might hit.) On the plus side, Venus in Gemini inspires us to research, which can help you discover what else is out there…including a potentially better option than the one you were settling for. Spiritual Neptune can support with tapping your intuition. If you’re feeling stuck, find a quiet place for a little Monday meditation. Bring your journal and let your feelings flow across the page.

Tuesday’s quarter moon in Aries brings the focus back to personal dreams and desires. Where’s the midpoint between autonomy and cooperation? If you’ve swung too far to either extreme these moonbeams can help you rebalance. While Aries energy favors rugged individualism, there’s more than enough #me energy going around. Stop snapping selfies and pay attention to the present moment…the one that’s happening beyond the frame perimeter of your mobile screen. That’s how you’ll tap the quick-fire, spontaneous vibes of this star sign, and stir up excitement. Magic can happen if you’ll follow the suggestion of Aries Ram Dass and “be here now.” Have you been placing other people’s needs above your own? Refine, redefine and rediscover YOUR happy place. Self-love is NOT an act of selfishness, it’s one of self-preservation! Detach from sticky entanglements and give your personal wish list a review. Are those goals bringing deep down fulfillment or could they use a tweak?

On Wednesday, mindful Mercury heads into Leo, lowering the house lights and raising the curtain on a fierce, flamboyant summer scene. With the messenger planet buzzing through this romantic sign, the summer love forecast just got a lot more scorching. Even if, last week, you swore off Tinder or resigned yourself to never feeling excited about your long-term S.O. again, don’t be surprised if that starts to shift. With Mercury in Leo, slumbering libidos will come right out of hibernation. Mercury weaves in and out of the lion’s den for an extra-long time, until August 29. This is due to a (glug) retrograde which lasts from July 7 to 31. During the backspin, signals could get scrambled among lovers—and exes could return. Make no assumptions! What one person thinks is the real thing may be an “obvious” fling to the other. This Mercury cycle is a great time for creative collaboration, or even the launch of a one-person show!
