A sensual week is in store as cosmic lovebirds Venus and Mars slip into soulful new sign positions this Wednesday—and a seductive Scorpio full moon sets off a spring fever pandemic on Saturday! First up is Venus the vixen, who breaks ground in tender, tactile Taurus this May 15. Since April 20, she’s been kicking up her red soles in fiery, frisky Aries. Fun for sure, but this restless energy made it hard to pin anyone or anything down. But in slow-jamming Taurus for three weeks, clarity will be incoming. Stop pulling petals off those cherry blossoms and “just be.” It won’t take long for intuition to decide if we love them or “love them not.” If it’s all green lights, kick back and enjoy! With Venus at a home court advantage in Taurus, the coming few weeks will be decadent, to say the least. The trick is to slow down and embrace the art of the old-fashioned courtship ritual. Log off the dating apps and meet for a non-virtual drink. Send bae a hand-written love letter. While you’re at it, make a budget for a chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. Speaking of which, this Venus cycle is also a money-minded one. Tighten up the purse strings and save your hard-earned cash for goods that fall into the “practical luxury” category. Think: investment pieces—hand-crafted, high-quality and with a lifetime guarantee. For couples, this Venus cycle is an ideal time to talk about how your values mesh. From the way you spend, to your ethical belief systems, the planetary diplomat can keep these discussions peaceful and proactive.

Later this Wednesday, red-hot Mars will also cool some of those burning embers, when it downshifts from flirty, frenetic Gemini into affectionate, homespun Cancer. The meek may inherit the earth AND occupy prime real estate in our hearts between now and July 1. That’s good reason to give the “nice guys” a chance to woo ya. After seven buzzy weeks, we’ll be grateful for this pregnant pause, which can help us digest all the data (and fascinating people!) we’ve tripped over since March 31. Bring it on home—literally—because cottage industry businesses will be blessed by Mars’ motivating beams. Got an idea for a side hustle you could start at your kitchen table? There’s no time like the present to start testing and developing. As restless Mars floats down Cancer’s lazy river until July 1, the waters could get turbulent at times. People will be prickly and sensitive, but they might not be as direct about what’s bugging them. When someone snaps, “I’m fine!” don’t take their words at face value. No, it’s probably NOT a good idea to force a conversation when the tension is thick enough to cut with a knife. But if storm clouds are brewing, don’t let them hang overhead for too long. Just address the issue privately, if you can. That said, if people insist on stonewalling, moving on (and moving out!) may be the best option. Home should feel like a sanctuary, not a hotbed of drama and tension. But warrior Mars can ratchet up the challenging vibes with family and roommates and force us to deal before July.  With courageous Mars occupying the crab’s shell until July 1, strong female leaders will keep stepping forward. This cycle will lend another pro-woman push for the 2020 elections.

On Saturday, intense attractions could become all-consuming as the year’s only full moon in Scorpio charges the air with mystery and seduction. If you’re feeling the urge to merge, it’s time to get off the fence. Scorpio energy plays for keeps. Still feeling uncertain about a partnership?
