The showstopping Sun swings into its annual meetup with shock jock Uranus, a day that is NOT meant for shrinking violets. Let’s see some swagger! For the past eight years, this cosmic Carnivale has taken place in radical Aries, which upped the ante even further. But in 2019, the two heavenly bodies will twine in Taurus, their first time together in the bullpen since 1942. Steady yourself! Instead of the fireworks that Aries brought, the next seven years of Sun-Uranus conjunctions in Taurus could feel more like earthquakes. Thought you were standing on solid ground? Maybe not. The structures you depended on may not be the sturdiest foundations anymore. It’s time to decamp, even if you can only see a few feet in front of you. On Monday, let the Sun illuminate the next courageous step to take. While this is unmooring, don’t resist the call for change. If you’re honest with yourself, weren’t some of your routines getting a little stale? Too much repetition means losing your edge, and Monday’s developments could force you to work a new muscle group. Ultimately, this will make you a stronger, more well-rounded human. And since Taurus governs the material realm, some unsettling news may come at work. Capricorn is the sign that rules the patriarchy—and with oft-sinister Pluto here, toxic masculinity is having a heyday. With these two planets rumbling, people can fall prey to delusions of grandeur.
