Weekly Horoscope 12.7 – 12.13

Do your end of year goals keep getting lost in the holiday haze? No mas! This Wednesday, December 9, meticulous Mercury rushes in for the save, joining powerhouse Pluto in Capricorn—the zodiac’s most can-do candidate. While it’s true that certain missions can be parked until 2016 there are others that are still Q4 priorities. Why SHOULDN’T we all wrap 2015 will all those boxes ticked (and others wrapped with shiny paper and a bow)? Swap the Santa hat for the project manager’s porkpie and organize those to-do’s. And don’t forget the most important lesson “big daddy” Capricorn has to teach us: ‘Tis better to delegate than do it all by yourself. Summon Dasher, Dancer, Donner and Vixen and start assigning tasks, STAT. Mercury in elite Capricorn also reminds us to keep the red velvet rope raised. Socialize strategically—and with people who actually matter when it comes to the quality of our lives. Bantering with a random elf here and there is fine, but not if it means being late to a BFF’s “8th Night Of Hannukah” menorah-lighting ceremony.

On Friday, the new moon in Sagittarius activates everyone’s global interests. All this talk of stricter borders might have some merit considering the international events of late—but not if it steers us into xenophobic terrain. “Can’t we all just get along?” might as well be this new moon’s rallying cry. (And Sagittarius Des’ree’s You Gotta Be is certainly the lunar anthem: http://tinyurl.com/hbya9wl.) With the new moon in an evocative square to jetsetting Jupiter, the mirror is really being held up: Where are we a little too fast to prejudge, label, or project qualities onto “certain people?” Fear is the enemy of progress, so break out! This new moon invites us to climb out of our bubbles and find out what’s happening on the other side of the tracks, fences and homeland security checks. Connect cross-culturally close to home, book tickets to a new corner of the world for a trip you’ll take by the corresponding full moon in Sagittarius on May 21, 2016. And no matter where you find yourself near this new moon, this truth will be self-evident: People are people.
