September 2013: The Unofficial New Year 

Fall is just around the corner and to pave the way into a new season is the highest change month of the year – September.  As the ninth month, it marks the end of an old cycle and the beginning of a new one. It’s the unofficial New Year when many of us get a rush of energy to take on new challenges, start new projects and tie up loose ends to make plans for the upcoming year ahead.

Every number in existence is created using the numbers 1-9 as well as the zero which is considered more of a symbol than a number. In numerology, everything is based on cycles and patterns of 1-9. September marks the ninth monthly energetic cycle of the year so whirlwind change is in the air.

Most of us will be busting out of the starting gate this month, taking advantage of the shift in energy after a sluggish July and erratic August. This month will bring more balance and direction to move forward.

Some of the synchronistic opportunities that may have come your way last month or projects you may have started will start to come together this month as the nine energy moves things forward. If you’re more of an intellectual Life Theme Number, you might use the month of September to dream up some major plans and act on them in October with its trailblazing one energy (number of new beginnings).

Any way you look at it, September is going to step it up several notches and energetically be like a train barreling down the tracks. Full steam ahead!

 

Calculating Your Number:

Before we get to the individual monthly forecasts, you’ll need to calculate your Life Theme Number which is your main energetic essence in this lifetime. Your date of birth is like spiritual DNA and can reveal who you are, what you’re here to do and how to do it.

To calculate your Life Theme Number, add together each individual digit in your date of birth and then reduce to a single digit, like this:

DOB: 12-18-1975

1+2+1+8+1+9+7+5=34

3+4=7

This date of birth has a Life Theme Number of 7. Follow the same steps to calculate your own essence.

**Note: If the sum equates to 10, 11, 22 or 33, stop there. Don’t reduce these numbers further as they are called the Master Numbers and should be displayed in their unreduced form. They are guiding frequencies which carry a greater responsibility to mankind in terms of their life purpose. Individual Life Theme Number Forecast for September:

2: Twos have a harder time diving into the high change energy of September because two and nine are in many ways polar opposites. Two is the number of intuition and sensitivity (most sensitive soul number) while nine is the number of ambition and idealism (most active mental number). It may take you the first week or so to get into the groove of the high change energy but once you do, you’ll be using your intuition like no other time this year, navigating the winds of change with ease. You’ll shine in your decision-making skills this month whereas usually, you’re the indecisive one. The idealistic and quick moving nine will keep you on your toes and in-tune with your gut – they’ll be no time for wishy-washy behavior.

3: As the social butterfly and number of imagination/inspiration, September tends to be a good month for you. You’re the intellectual socialite so you’ll be raring to go this month as you get swept away in the high change vibe. Your mind will be churning with fresh ideas and those around you will benefit from your never-ending stream of genius this month. Some of the Life Theme Numbers won’t be able to keep up with such a high dose of change energy but you’ll have no trouble. In fact, this fast-paced energy is your element and it will be a very productive month for you in many ways.

4: As the doer, you’ll be in high practical mode this month, using the high change energy to put your goals in motion in a strategic and organized way. You’ll be the grounded one this month, even more so than ever before as you take things step by step. You’re on a mission and will be using the highest change month to lay the foundation for the months ahead. This is a turning of the leaf month for you and you’re rolling out your master plan. Relationships won’t be on the agenda in September since you’ll be way too busy with goal-oriented pursuits.

5: The freedom of expression number five is feeling their power side this month. As the artist’s number that loves to express, the flip side of the five is to seek power and control. Hitler was a five Life Theme Number and although he was known to be artistic and compassionate to animals, he also expressed the more negative side of the five. Be careful not to get swept away by the high change energy to the extent that you become bossy and dominating. You love change and the fast pace of September is right up your alley. The spotlight will be on you in several ways this month – career, relationships and the social scene. The glow you have will be magnetic and you’ll find yourself attracting people, situations and things with ease.

6: As the number of creativity and creative expression, you’ll be less inclined to make outward changes, instead using extra mental juice of the most active mind plane number nine to polish up your emerging ideas from August. You’ll also be in high nurturing mode (the softer side of the six) and if you’re not in a relationship now, it will be in the forefront of your mind. If you are in a relationship, the nine energy of September may make you feel the urge to solidify the connection in a bigger way. Sixes are the visionaries who see the bigger picture but this month, it’s all about fine-tuning and the smaller details. You’re connecting your own dots to pull things together and deciding/creating what you want going forward. It will be a surprisingly calm and stable month for the often over-thinking, perfectionist six.

7: Sevens are leapers and not so much thinkers which means the most active month of the year will be about outer action for you. It’s definitely time for you to take action on the things you’ve contemplated in July and planted the seed for in August. One key element is that you’ll be feeling the call to share of yourself, your wisdom and knowledge in a mentoring way. If you’re not already involved in one, seek out a group setting where your natural teaching/learning energy can be utilized. The ninth month and its humanitarian energy is all about high change but also desires to give back in self-less service. Focus on sharing what you know with others this month. It will not only help others but help you consolidate, integrate and move forward with your own experiences.

8: Detached and independent is the name of the game for the eights this month. As the confident, assertive number of wisdom, you’re feeling the need to let down your hair and have a good time. Unlike last month which was very goal/career focused, this month is more of a break to reward yourself for the hard work. Go out and have a good time. You’re a natural networker so it will be a double-whammy and you’ll find progress in having fun. Relax this month and go with the flow. You’ll be back in drive the following month so enjoy the much-needed break.

9: A nine in the ninth month can go in several different directions depending on the nine in question. If your date of birth adds to thirty-six before reducing to nine, you may find September to be mentally agitating for you. Worry, anxiety and stress might get the better of you if you allow it. Your mind is going a mile a minute in this high change air. If your date of birth is an eighteen before reducing to nine, you’ll be more inclined to take action on things you’ve been sitting on with the number one (pioneer, number of new beginnings) leading your energy. Whatever direction you’re headed in, you’ll be poised for big changes this month (inner and/or outer) whether you’re ready for them or not. Be cautious not to fall into negative mode and become judgmental and critical of others as a means of coping with the high change vibe. Remind yourself that you’re in your element this month and you need to grab the bull by the horns rather than play the blame game.

10/1: At the base of the ten is a one which is the first physical plane number, the pioneer. The best trait of the Life Theme Number number ten is their adaptability, especially under high change circumstances. The caution here is to not sweep things under the rug when the heat is on. The high change this month will dredge up issues you have been putting off dealing with and it’s best to use the high mental energy of the ninth month to clear the air and get on the right track again. Relationships will be big for the ten this month and getting the issues out on the table. When the stress is high, tens go into physical mode (1) and neglect their spiritual side (0) but under the influence of such a strong mental month (9), you’ll have no choice but to face the music. You’ll be back in the zone next month with the one in October but for now, it’s one of the few months that the ten is forced to take a hard look at things.

11/2: The eleven is really being called to step up to the plate this month. As the spiritual guide, the eleven is being led into September feeling there’s something BIG they need to be focusing their energy on. You’re attracting people to you like a moth to a flame right now as people sense your ability to lead them from the inside out. Don’t be surprised if you notice a big increase in the people who randomly tell you their life’s story.  You’re a natural counselor in many ways so others feel drawn to share with you. Your life path and purpose have never been closer to you and it’s time to step into it. The remaining part of the year will feel akin to emerging from a cocoon with September marking the beginning phase. There are endless ways to be a spiritual guide. It’s time to find yours and this has been building since 2011.

22/4: As an intuitive power house (double twos, number of intuition/sensitivity) combining to form the “doer” (four), you’re coming out of your shell from the summer months ready to lead and be the Master Builder that you are. Akin to an architect, you are planning and preparing your new blueprint for the coming months and year. Like the Life Theme Number four, it’s less about outer doing and more about restructuring your foundation with all this high change energy. However, you are a master frequency so it’s bigger, broader or more global in terms of what you’re restructuring for. Globally next year, it’s all about rebuilding from the ground up with the keyword authenticity. The world has been in crisis for some time (financially, environmentally, etc) but thankfully we have the twenty-two fours to help us rebuild our foundation from the ground up. Career is the highlight of September for you with relationships taking a back seat until sometime in December.

33/6: The theme of September for the thirty-three six: Write it out. Leading with the double imaginative and inspirational threes combining to form the number of creativity, the high mental energy of the ninth month can be literally mind-blowing for the thirty-three six. Although ideas, random thoughts and new goals are churning, you may feel the need to retreat to a private space more often than normal. Not all thirty-three sixes are gifted writers but many of them express themselves better on paper, especially during times of high stress and anxiety. If you’re feeling extra stressed and overwhelmed this month, take some time to write it down on paper, even if it’s just a few sentences. You’ll find clarity in the unspoken word this month. This month is intellectual overload for you with so many mind plane numbers colliding (3, 6, 9) so watch for signs of burn-out and take the necessary steps to self-nurture.
