The Goddess Within
by Theresa Crann
My mind swims with poetic prose
As my body awakens
The bittering chatterbox of my psyche slows down
Allowing my inner writer to appear once more
For she can break any barrier of the heart
And she comes from the deepest well of her humanity
She, is the Goddess within
The Queen of her domain
Who takes on new exciting ventures
Whilst caring for herself and her inner family
The wounded child
The angry teen
The mad scientist
The workaholic
The perfectionist
The inner critic
She leads with splendid flaws
She teaches from her stories of old
Whist knowing they no longer have power over her
For she has healed many wounds
And has risen from the ashes
And she is whole once more
Life never stops giving her irritations, triggers and blocks
Yet she has the courage to face her fears
And runs with her processes from over the years
Her tool belt of modalities is robust
And it keeps changing to accommodate who she becomes
Each time she rebirths
Letting go of the old identity she clung to so desperately
For she is the Goddess within
And she is perfectly imperfect
Gloriously Flawed
She has resilience, wisdom, courage, compassion, love, understanding, acceptance.
She becomes…..
She is…….
And forever will she be…..

Theresa Crann has been reinventing herself for years as her passion for self-exploration and self-expression pushes her constantly towards new creative endeavours.
As a celebrated hospital pharmacist for 35 years (with 2 prestigious awards in the field), Theresa strives to show others by example how to detangle from job-identity-dominance while embracing her other identities: visual artist, public speaker, spoken word artist, mystic and writer.
She has many ideas she is currently percolating on for her life, including but not limited to, empowerment coaching (when she graduates) and becoming a published author of creative writing and story telling.
When not at her day job, you will find Theresa delving into all sorts of groovy things like biking, camping, hiking, forest bathing, painting, drawing, mixed media, polymer clay, creative writing, poetry, spoken word, automatic writing, intuitive readings, hosting Oracle Card Gatherings or Art Experience Classes.
