Crystal Andrus: The Divine Wants What You Want -- So Create!

This week, I wanted to reach back and share with you this beautiful revelation I had when I was writing Simply… EMPOWERED! It ended up being the introduction to my book, because this conversation I had with the divine was such a profound moment:

I woke up the other night at three in the morning to a voice, or perhaps it was more like a feeling, nudging me to pick up my journal and pen. I listened. The following words poured out of me . . .

“Do you really believe you have to prove your worth to me? Do you not know that I know your worth?

“I think that you think I’ve given you your success and can take it away.

“Crystal, you created your success. You did your part. It was effortless for me to do mine. Always has been. You are the creator of your destiny. And only you, Crystal, can take away your dreams, hopes, future, and accomplishments. Not I! Besides, why would I take it away?

“Stop fearing. You will always be okay because you now know that you can always create success. You understand what it takes to create, and finally, you’ve learned the secret of how to sustain.

“So create! Not to show me your worth and not to prove yourself to anyone, but because it is what you want. It is your self-written destiny, and you are simply remembering your own plan. Remember, I only want for you what you want!

And I will always do what I can to help guide and support you. “Think about it: If Madelaine [my daughter] wants to be a movie star because that is what lifts her up and makes her feel alive, wouldn’t you want that for her? Isn’t that unconditional love?

“And if she achieves it by working hard, staying focused, and being in the right place at the right time, would you take it away from her—even if she does something to upset you or let you down? (By the way, you cannot take away her success nor can I take yours. I gave you free will, and I will never take it away!)

“If Julia [my other daughter] wants to be a rock star, wouldn’t you help her if you could? And if she is doing everything she can possibly do, and you can help guide her to the right people, and support and encourage her, wouldn’t you?

“On the other hand, if Julia begs and pleads with you every day to make her a rock star, but she lies around, meditates on it, cries about it when it doesn’t happen, fears that it will never happen, complains that it’s happening for other less-talented, less-deserving people, gets focused and then loses focus weekly (sometimes daily) . . . would there really be anything you could do to fulfill her dreams?

“Do you see the dilemma I so often face? Can you imagine my children thinking I’ve forsaken them? That I won’t give them what they desire and dream of? That I won’t help them?

“If only they would realize that I’ve given them the greatest gift of all: free will, free choice, and the ability to take action; as well as my unconditional love, support, guidance, and encouragement!

“Creation is about action and sustaining is about reaction.

“How do you react when you don’t get what you want? How do you react when you don’t like what you see?

“If only my children could see that their life is a culmination of their actions and reactions, they would understand that success is their creation.

“What power and strength they would feel! What success they would create! What a life they would sustain!”

In Love and Light,

Crystal
