As the founder of the Simply Woman magazine and The S.W.A.T. Institute (Simply Woman Accredited Trainer), I am blown away by the amazing women who are graduating from our Empowerment Coach Certification!

This week, I am featuring a woman who does more than just put a little color in your cheeks, she puts life into your perspectives! From her old self-proclaimed ‘Wallflower’ to a beautiful Wildflower, Nicole Moorey is now a nature-inspired Master Empowerment Coach & Expert, who is ready and waiting to help you discover, create, and love Your Life, too — both inside and out!

I loved the TeleSummit I worked on with Nicole and how passionately grounded and joyfully centered she was to work with. When Nicole is not coaching, writing, or giving talks, she can be found enjoying adventures in the great outdoors with her wonderful husband, two fabulous children, and great circle of family and friends in majestic Northwestern Ontario.

Enjoy reading our short interview!

Crystal: How did you end up joining the S.W.A.T. Institute? Did your journey end up reflecting what you thought it would be?

Nicole: I can still clearly picture the night at my family cottage when by chance I picked up my sister’s copy of your book “Simply Empowered”.  It was midnight, everyone else was asleep, and as I started to read I felt as though you had written those words directly to me.  I was amazed to learn about personal empowerment and discover that it was the exact solution that I desperately sought.

From there I followed your work, closely, for a few months and finally invested in myself through your 12-Week Emotional Edge TeleCourse and within a week of that, your Master Empowerment Coach Certification.  This was a scary leap for me as I had never invested in myself in this way, but I followed the insistent feeling in me to just go for it.

At the time, I was a working mom with two young children, and mounting “adulthood” problems.  I remember wondering how I could have created a great little life for myself and my family, and yet still be so overwhelmed and stressed by external pressures.  I was putting myself last, feeling awful and wondering what happened to my former optimism and excitement for life.

My journey at The S.W.A.T. Institute helped me work through all of those struggles by helping me get to the root of what was really going on and also equipped me to manage any future problems that might come up.

The S.W.A.T. Institute surpassed what I thought it would be.

When I started, I only wanted to enhance my personal health and wellness for myself and my family.  Much to my surprise, I discovered that starting a coaching business would be an ideal job for me as it combined so many of my professional experiences and personal dreams.  Thanks to you, I’m living life according to my dreams and my loved ones and clients are benefiting too!

Crystal: Are there any significant challenges you had growing up – that you wish to share – and what helped you through?

Nicole:  I was blessed with a happy childhood, a strong sense of who I was and family and friends who loved me. My challenges began in high school when I became a classic “Wallflower”, keeping myself small or invisible to fit in and ensure others were happy.  I started to overcome this through University and beyond but can trace every big problem I’ve had since to those unhealthy roots of “playing small”, doing what I thought I “should” be doing and caring too much about what others think.  Interestingly, though, I can also trace my greatest traits back to those days as I’m a great listener, empathetic, caring, hopeful and I love all people – especially “Wallflowers to Wildflowers” like me.

I think I made it through okay because as lonely and difficult as things were then, I always knew that I was a good and likeable person at my core and that everything would somehow turn out for me.  I was deeply loved, so even though I hadn’t learned how to own my power, I did have a sense of value that kept me moving forward and creating a great life for myself.

Working through my Master Empowerment Coach Certification at the S.W.A.T. Institute, it all came together for me, and now I’m on my way!

Crystal: What piece of advice would you give your younger Self?

Nicole: It’s okay to be you, exactly as you are.  People would love to know you and hear what you have to say. Your job is to live your happiest, healthiest, brightest life and not worry about accommodating everyone else’s needs. Reach out to receive support when you’re struggling.  Everything will work out beautifully, and even better than you could imagine.

Crystal: What are you doing now that you’ve graduated and how can people find you?

Nicole: Today, I’m a nature-inspired Master Empowerment Coach! I’m passionate about helping women embrace their innate value while creating a life they love and having some fun along the way!

Sometimes women feel stuck or stressed by a particular challenge they’re facing in any area of life, so I walk with them (figuratively and sometimes literally) through their inner transitions.  Other women are ready to pursue their desires, and I love supporting them through the action steps to move through their transformation and arrive at their dreams.

Currently, I have a few openings available in my customized Private Coaching Program and welcome anyone interested in learning more to connect with me at info@nicolemoorey.com.
