our featured simply woman spotlight: karishma gill
From the desk of Crystal Andrus Morissette
As the founder of the Simply Woman magazine and the S.W.A.T. Institute (Simply Woman Accredited Trainer), I am consistently amazed by the women who are a part of our global coalition.
This week, I am beyond excited to showcase a woman who is unlike any woman I have ever known before. Karishma Gill is exceptional! Her beauty, intuition, and confidence make her the perfect Divine Feminine Goddess Teacher! When she first joined the S.W.A.T. Institute to become a Master Empowerment Coach, I knew she was going to take her gifts out to the world in a big bold way.
Enjoy our short interview!
Crystal: How did you end up joining the S.W.A.T Institute? Did your journey end up reflecting what you thought it would be?
Karishma: I was on my soul searching journey; I was ready to discover my life’s purpose for myself, humanity, and the planet. I kept seeing the word ‘coach’ on my Google search; it would come up in my conversations, and just in random thoughts. That’s when divine guidance led me to the S.W.A.T. Institute. I was fascinated with your [Crystal’s] empowerment movement! I just knew this was what I had to do! I didn’t know why but I knew the Divine was saying ‘go for it’. The problem I didn’t have the tuition money. All I had was a credit card. Somehow, I had faith that this will work out; that the Universe had my back. It couldn’t be a coincidence. So, I put in on my credit card and moved forward fearlessly. Sure enough, the Universe took care of me financially through many empowering ways and saw to it that I journeyed through this program comfortably.
My S.W.A.T. journey helped me shed all the layers of limitations I had been carrying as a disempowered woman. So much healing took place with the assignments alone. It was like I was talking to an invisible Guru in every book, every assignment, every release, every cry, every happy moment. As I was becoming an empowered women’s coach, I was also coached by the women who came before me! It was what I was looking for in a coaching program! I knew I was in the right place. The S.W.A.T. community of women from around the world was just awesome! I have made some great friends and a sisterhood that will see me through no matter what. It is incredible! I graduated after 23 months of being in a ‘labour of birthing a brand new Me’! This was the first real step I took towards creating my soul’s true purpose.
Crystal: Are there any significant challenges you had growing up – that you wish to share – and what helped you through?
Karishma: Growing up in within an Indian community in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia had its challenges for someone like myself. I went through teasing of my ‘darker’ skin colour, not fitting in with other girls, hiding my psychic abilities, not great at academic work, and the usual expectations of what a good Indian girl is supposed to be. I failed miserably at all of this. No one saw that I could talk to plants and animals. I could speak to angels. I could sing. I could create handicraft. I loved bright colours. I loved performing. I was great at public speaking. I could write well. I could paint abstract forms which were a Light language from the angels. I had to dumb myself because I was never taught to stand out. I was taught to blend in and be like the others. I burst through this limitation during my S.W.A.T. journey because I started accepting all parts of me that I had made invisible. It was okay to be me. I was normal. It was okay that I was different. I had to learn to celebrate my differences. In fact, my difference and uniqueness are what makes me who I am! I was never meant to be like someone else. I was meant to be ME. There is no one else on this planet like Me. Through my S.W.A.T. healing journey, I started to accept all parts of me.
Crystal: What piece of advice would you give to your younger self?
Karishma: You are unique, and you are meant to be different. We are all different. There is no such thing as everyone being the same person. The reason you don’t always fit in with others is that you are not meant to. You stand out and attract similar friends like you. For that to happen, start to accept yourself first. That whatever you are, whoever you are, is pretty okay. Yes, you can talk to plants and animals. Yes, you can hear the voices of angels and higher beings. Yes, you can sing like an angel, dance like a fairy and are incredibly creative. That is totally awesome! Once you accept that about yourself, you will know deep down that these things interest you and that you would want to share them with the world. Love all parts of you. All of it is already beautiful. No adjustment needed. When you love yourself, you shine so brightly. Your light will attract others just like you. And soon you will have an amazing tribe of gifted people who are also different, quirky and fun. Start this off by looking at yourself in the mirror and say ‘I am beautiful. I am awesome. I love myself just the way I am’. And watch the magic unfolding in your life every day in every way.
Crystal: What are you doing now that you have graduated, and how can people find you?
Karishma: I am a Divine Feminine Goddess Teacher and a Spiritual Awakening Guide for women! It is what I call the Path of the Goddess, which every woman on the planet is ready to experience right now. In fact, I have started a spiritual Goddesshood! Working in a group dynamic excites me, as women are all about community. The more women who heal together, stand together!
To help women understand their spiritual Goddess path, I have lovingly created a Free Awakening Woman mini-course at www.karishmagill.com.
I am most excited about my newest project: Awakening Woman – The Divine Feminine Goddess Workshops launching on October 3rd, 2016 (both online and locally in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.) The first is called “Claim Your Feminine Power” which involves shedding all old, and low vibrational 3D programming of what being a woman is all about and receiving a 5D or higher vibrational blueprint of womanhood that encompasses higher consciousness of Love and Light.
Soon, I’m releasing my artwork, jewellery, and hosting a Goddess retreat in Bali. Stay tuned!
