As the first month of the year, January is typically when we desire to start anew but this year is particularly oozing with fresh start energy. 2014 is a 7 year, the number of truth and authenticity. It will be a big year of stepping into our personal power and owning who we truly are.

The relationship challenges that plagued many of us for most of last year will start to see resolution as the situations are put under the microscope of truth. We’ve got the urge to get raw and real with things. It’s time to face it head on and be honest with ourselves about what we want and don’t want. A side effect of living in the flow of truth is that we can no longer tolerate anything that doesn’t resonate with us. There is a natural inclination to move away from the people, places and things that don’t feel authentic.

This is the year to be YOU on all levels. We’re under a double whammy physical energy as well with 1 (January) being the first physical number governing communication and 7 (global year number) as the most active number on the physical plane. Many of us will hit the ground running in 2014 and globally, we’ll start to see the wheels of progress turning again. With the theme of truth underlying our actions this year, solutions to some of the world’s crisis situations (like the financial crisis) will become apparent. Plus, they’ll be lots of active “doing” energy floating around to get the job done.

Individual Life Theme Number Forecast for January:

2:  As the most sensitive number, you’re really feeling the rush of the raw and real truth energy of 2014 coupled with the new beginnings vibe of January. The challenge is that you’ll be hesitant for the first half of the month to take outer action even though you want to. You take a bit longer to warm up to an overabundance of physical “doing” energy because your nature is emotional or soulful based. You’ll be focused on cleaning up the relationship challenges first, then moving on to more of a career-focused mode the second half of the month. Although not your normal approach, you’ll be very strategic this month in both your thinking and actions. You’ll make a lot of headway in terms of clearing out the old. You’re going to be making your list and ticking it off swiftly and efficiently. Expect to wipe the slate clean to start a new plan of action.

3: Whenever there’s an abundance of physical energy the 3 gets antsy and impatient, wanting to bring through all their great ideas as the number of imagination and inspiration. If you can imagine a talkative person speaking a mile a minute, that’s what the brain of a 3 looks like when there’s a physical gateway to challenge their thoughts. The great thing about being a 3 is that you’re the outgoing, social butterfly mind plane number who usually isn’t afraid to express and implement their ideas. You’ll be in high demand this month in both personal and professional situations. You’re the go-to person because the energy of the month is pushing others to seek out solutions to ongoing challenges. Who better than the intelligent 3? 4: You’re the missing element to complete the physical plane energies this month. 1, 4 and 7 are the physical numbers and we have January with its 1 energy and the global year is a 7. As the “doer”, you’re really feeling restless and want to get going after spending December in more of a consolidation mode. 5: As the freedom of expression number, the 5 starts to flap its wings as soon as there is a strong infusion of physical energy in the air. This year, the 5’s will get off to a running start, spreading their wings to fly. As the middle feeling number, it’s not necessarily your nature to leap before thinking (or feeling) but this month you’re bursting with giddy-up juice. You’re the leader of the pack or the “delegator” this month as others will look to you for guidance and direction, putting your visionary skills to good use this January. Sometimes you can be the worry-wart, over-thinking and over-analyzing everything but not this month. 7: You’re feeling comfortably at home in all this physical energy. You’re on your game big time. The 7 has two distinct (and often polar opposite) sides – the physical side “leap before thinking” side and the deep, philosophical thinking side. January 2014 is all about getting it done on a physical level but it’s never been easier for you than it is right now. For those 7’s that have had their fair share of hindsight learning, it’s not about that this month. 10/1: Like the 7, the 10 has a dualistic side with one end being very physical (1) while the other spiritual (0). In their younger years, the 10 tends to gravitate toward the more physical side of life while the more mature 10 steps into the mentoring “Earth Guide” energy that is their true nature (combining the energies of heaven and earth with 1 and zero). This year, particularly from the start of the New Year until the end of spring, you’ll be in full mentoring mode. It is as though the 10 is being called to their post this January and you can feel the call in a huge way. Many of us are charged up but the physical pulse of both the new beginnings number 1 month and global year carrying the “doing” energy of the most active physical number 7. The trouble is, a good number of us are struggling with how to exactly use all this action energy. That’s where the mentoring 10 steps in to lead us through casual conversation. The 10’s are the old souls this month, giving advice and guidance wherever they go. Interestingly enough, as the first physical number, you won’t see much outer action this month (at least for the first 2 weeks of the month). Your time will be spent doling out your wisdom to even random strangers like the cashier who spills their life story to you in out of the blue. You’re in your element verbally helping others because you love to share what you know. It’s your makeup and you’ll feel content even if there’s no big action for you just yet. It’s all about communication for you this month and that goes for relationships. You’ll make some headway this month on those relationship challenges that seemed to be at a standstill. Health-wise, be careful to eat lots of greens for the next several weeks because your energy will be challenged with so much mentoring going on. You’ll pick up a great deal of energetic debris from others so you need to keep your energy light and airy. Typically, the recommendation is to eat grounding foods but for the 10 who likes to keep life “light and fun”, it’s crucial for you to eat light to keep your energy fresh and unhindered.

11/2: The 11/2 will get a slow start with the physical energy this month but that’s ok. You’re right where you need to be. Your hard work in the area of self-reflection during the latter part of 2013 will be coming to completion as you bring things together in your head and heart. It will be a quiet couple of weeks during the first part of January and you may feel like you’re the tortoise in the Tortoise and the Hair. You’re natural inclination is to be the self-reflective spiritual guide so don’t feel bad that you’re not in full-on active mode like many of the other Life Theme Numbers. You deal with things from the inside out but once you figure it out, you’re a creative force that can manifest pretty much anything you desire. Knowing this, you can understand how important your quiet time is to both yourself and those around you. It’s been a rough six months for the 11/2 and this is your time to take a breath before you take your next steps. If you’re feeling the need to retreat still, respect that and go with it. Your apprehension should subside by the end of the second week of January when you’ll be flying high, seeing clearly through your eagle’s eye view as the visionary 6. It’s a vibe that wants you to care for you as a means to prepare you for the physical based action year ahead. Your motherly nurturing mode will be in full swing over the next several weeks, both for yourself and others. Take time for long baths and walks alone to contemplate. The rocky relationship situation is coming to an end and the last relationship challenge to resolve or (at least come to terms with) is the one you have with yourself.
