Finding the Best Path to Purpose and Prosperity

We are living in the most exciting of times where social entrepreneurship is driving a new heart centred economy. Now, more than ever, it is easy to combine financial prosperity with a life of purpose.

This is our time, women of the world.

Women tend to go into business with the perspective they want to make a difference rather than just for the pleasure of making money. We want greater meaning from our business, and a sense of being on purpose. But let’s face it – 50% of businesses fail. Through my serial entrepreneurial adventures I’ve owned several businesses, some of them successful and some of them abysmal flops, despite every effort on my part.

After implementing a mission strategy that saved a billion dollar industry from ruin in 2006, my own business went into liquidation and I had to file for bankruptcy. HUH?! With some great coaching and soul searching, I finally found the missing link between living a life of purpose and having financial prosperity. I discovered we each have a Mission Blueprint. This is like a building blueprint, only it’s a design for the structure of our life where we will gain the most joy, satisfaction and success. It contains a pathway for us to live fully on purpose, and monetized our purpose to access the abundance of the Universe. If you’re not accurately monetized, you could be on purpose but in financial struggle.

 

3 Keys to Monetizing Your Purpose for Prosperity

Key One: Our Souls have come here to expand through, what I call, Soul Primary Expression Modalities. This is the, “what am I here to be” aspect of your purpose. Yes, it’s all about self expression. We each have about 5-7 methods of expression that connect us to our greater joy, expansion, success, fulfillment and abundance, when we express ourselves through them. I believe this is part of why 50% of small businesses fail, or we don’t like a job. We’re not expressing ourselves according to our Soul’s Primary Expression Modalities, which is the direction of our success. The key then is to live in the full expression of these modalities.

Key Two: Most of us have a sense we’ve come here to do something. We are eluding to our personal mission within our purpose. This is the, “what am I here to do” aspect of your purpose. Without knowing what your personal mission is, you can end up doing the wrong thing, creating the wrong business and failing within their first few years, because the thing you are doing is not yours to do. You combine your personal mission with your Soul’s Primary Expression Modalities and clear direction to that path of purpose and prosperity begins to reveal itself.

Key Three: Frontier brain scientists say as much as 50% of thoughts and beliefs stored in our brain are not our own! They belong to our ancestors. Wow! If we go back several generations, regardless of your culture, there is a time when spiritual leaders, shamans, medicine women and men, druids etc, were the ruling class of society. It was their purpose to contact the Divine and teach the tribe. The day to day work was done by the tribes’ members as it was considered beneath the spiritual leaders because they’d lose their connection with the Divine if they engaged in such toil. And here we have a Split Brain Hemisphere Syndrome being born. Work and purpose are considered separate.

You need to heal this Split Brain Hemisphere Syndrome and upgrade the software. This is key because it’s often why so many people who make the switch from a well paid job to a business they feel passionate about, dive bomb into financial struggle. It’s why so many spiritual people have the idea money is dirty or evil, and why they don’t even have the value of making money. These are belief systems based on history not our future. That split of work and money from purpose and spirituality needs to be healed. This is the time, in our society, for that healing.

Making money by making a difference by living passionately on purpose is the new wave. In fact may I be so bold to say:

“When we all begin to make money by making a difference, rather than working at a job or business just to pay the bills, we will transform the world.”

That is what social entrepreneurship is all about – Using business and money as a vehicle to change the world for the better. We live in a time where we can be effective change makers, living on purpose and in financial prosperity so we can go on to make an even bigger difference.
