Bloat Sucks! 5 Steps to De-Bloat ASAP!
Written by Kris Britton
You know that uncomfortable icky bloating feeling after you eat a meal that left you feeling heavy, super expanded and blah?! BLAH!
Yea, let’s talk about it! You try so hard to suck in your belly that is expanding out, which is impossible to do and all you visualize yourself doing is unzipping your dress right then and there, in the restaurant and putting on your Victoria’s Secret PJ’s…..
Ahhh heaven. Nothing beats taking off a tight outfit and your makeup and curling up into your sleepwear…am I right?!
We all deserve fun meals out and an extra glass of red wine and we absolutely can, just know that when bloat comes creeping in, you can show her right back out ; )
Girl, I got you and I’ll show you how!!
Bloat, stomach aches and indigestion are the worst and I faced this battle for years before I knew that I had food sensitivities and that I should probably cut out the certain culprits! I swear month after month I was in the doctors office, explaining how uncomfortable I was feeling and they had no idea what was wrong with me.
I was 10 pounds lighter than I am today (I’m almost 5’10, and already lean – my muscle transformation is here) and my doctors kept putting me back on a diet to “up” my weight…. “Add in crackers and cheese between meals, Kris! You need more calories coming in” and little did I know, these snacks were killing my digestive system!
Today I am not 100% gluten free, egg free, dairy free, yada yada yada, I still enjoy splurges and I know I’m FULLY backed by fast natural de-bloating essential oils that sooth and support my body.
You all know I can’t do a post without letting my woo-woo flag fly high…
Stomach aches metaphysically represent – Dread. Fear of the new.
So if you’re experiencing an on going stomach issue, check in with your emotions and take it inward.
What are you fearing? Are there some new decision that need to be made? Do you have newness coming up?
Work emotionally on this fear, so you can let this stomach ache go!
Also, I’m not proud to admit this, but back in my late teens and early 20’s when my stomach was at it’s weakest – Pepto Bismol was my ride or die. I’m not sure if you ever have taken pepto bismol, but it’s takes a million years to actually work!
I want to help you QUICKLY with your stomach issues….so let’s talk openly about 5 Tips to De-Bloat, now!
#1 De-Bloating Tip! Today my Ride or Die is hands down, this golden gem and I swear by it! Oh yes, this baby, pure natural essential oils works SUPER fast for me and it’s a dream come true for any indigestion, bloating or “full” stomach aches!
Even if you’re feeling you ate something that made you feel icky sick, just take a couple drops of this and you can feel better fast!
Or, rub this essential oil blend right on your tummy and diffuse it for really great results as well. If you have a little one at home with a tummy ache, rub it on their belly with coconut oil or a carrier oil for absorption.
DigestZen (in Canada it’s called ZenGest)
Super Important Notes: “DigestZen is known as doTERRA’s “tummy tamer” blend due to its ability to aid in digestion, soothe occasional stomach upset, and maintain overall digestive health.* This unique blend contains Ginger, Fennel, and Coriander to help ease occasional stomach discomfort, including motion sickness and indigestion, while Peppermint, Tarragon, Anise, and Caraway aid with digestion and help maintain a healthy gastrointestinal tract.* DigestZen is great to have on hand when stomach upset occurs and is safe and effective. DigestZen is a healthy, natural, and gentle way to soothe an upset stomach or maintain a healthy digestive system.*”

#2 De-Bloat Tip! Stretch-out and breathe deeply!
What I need to do is lay on the floor, flat on my back and deeply stretch out! This feels so good to let your blood flow through your body and to let all the energy that need to move, move! Hunching over will feel worse, so stretch baby, stretch!
#3 De-Bloat Tip! Apple Cider Vinegar!
1 tbsp of Apple Cider Vinegar in a bit of water and just shoot it down will help. DigestZen is still faster in my option due the bouquet of oils it has in it, but if you need something from the kitchen, drink up some AC!
#4 De-Bloat Tip! Ginger Tea!
Make a cuppa warm water with fresh ginger sliced into it and let the ginger infuse your warm water…it’s a nice flavour and I enjoy drinking this on a fall day, without bloat! But I’m super weird and LOVE ginger!!
#5 De-Bloat Tip! Probiotics!
Prevention, Prevention, Prevention!! Probiotics are something you need in your life as prevention from bloat in the first place. We know prevention is best, so make sure you are using a good probiotic, daily! doTERRA has one that I use called PB Assist and it’s so bomb.
• Promotes a positive balance and proliferation of beneficial bacteria*
• Maintains healthy intestinal microflora balance*
• Supports healthy functioning of the digestive and immune systems*
• Supports the health of the GI tract, particularly the intestines and colon*
• Helps support optimal metabolism and absorption of food*
Keep in mind, babes…
Eating a diet that agrees with your body is best. When there is bloating or upset, you may be eating foods that don’t agree with you, which means they are not being absorbed as proper nutrients and then that kinda sucks.
I am also not a doctor, just a passionate woman on a mission to help people live tummy ache free and I’m sharing what personally works for me : )
